A classic and unique timepiece, the Longines Ref. 1001-1 is a beautiful example of a dress watch from the 1970s.
Sporting a clean silver dial, this watch is quintessentially what a dress watch is. It is slim, understated and slips under the the cuff easily, and tells the time withouht being too loud. However, there's a touch of uniqueness with the art deco style Arabic numerals on the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock mark.
The watch's circular steel case is at 34mm, but with the elegonated lugs, this watch wears larger on the wrist. This makes it suitable even for people with larger wrists as well.
It uses a manual wind Cal. 428 movement, which was produced by Longines in the 1970s.
