Notice something different about this Omega Speedmaster? Despite belonging to the Speedmaster line, this particular watch bears no resemblance to the other timepieces from the series. A little strange, but all the more intriguing.
Also known as the 'Maison Fondée en 1848', this line of watches was first released in 1990 with the same intention as the De Ville Prestige line, which was to have high-quality movements in a dress-style watch. However, upon closer look at the case and bracelet design, you can see some similarities with the typical style of an Omega Speedmaster. For example, the flat bezel reminds one of the tachymeter bezel on the Moonwatch, especially when you view it from above.
This exceptional watch for sale today is the Omega Speedmaster Ref. 3501.30. It sports a nice simple dial, with a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The dial has a horizontal brushed texture, and paired with baton hour and minute hands. It houses the Cal. 1108, which is responsible for the clean sweeping seconds hand and quickset date.
The most interesting point about the Omega Speedmaster Ref. 3501.30 is that it's a Speedmaster yet it was sold out of the boutique paired with a Seamaster bracelet. Quite a special detail that makes this watch all the more unique. If you are looking for an Omega Speedmaster that's different from the usual, this is surely one to get.
