After finishing a roll of film, the next step in the film photography process is to develop and scan your film roll so you can see the memories you have captured. Picking the best film lab is crucial to make sure that your photos are processed properly so that you can get the best photos out of your film! If that sounds daunting to you, don’t worry.

We have picked the 5 best places to develop film in Singapore (with price comparisons at the bottom), for you to easily decide where to process your film.

 

1. Whampoa Colour Centre

Situated in the heart of Whampoa, Whampoa Colour Centre (or otherwise known as WCC), offers affordable and fast film development in Singapore. This film lab has been around for a long time (since 1983!) so you can be assured of quality development and scans every time.

WCC develops colour and black and white films in 35mm, 120mm and 110 format. Once your film is developed, you will receive it by Dropbox, or CD. Turnaround time is usually about 1 working day.

2. Konota Digital Services

Konota Digital Services is at Peninsula Plaza, which is just a stone’s throw away from City Hall MRT Station. This film lab develops a wide variety of film, from 35mm to 120mm film. If you are looking to develop film from your 110 camera, this place does it as well.

Opt for either their 1-hour express processing service to get your photos as soon as possible, otherwise, expect to get your photos within a week.

3. Triple D Minilab Centre

Ah...Triple D. All of us have been to this place at some point right? It is no wonder that this is one of the more popular development labs, as it is conveniently located near Bugis MRT at Burlington Square. Triple D processes not only black and white film, but also colour film in 35, 120 and 110 format.

4. FotoHub

With many outlets scattered across the island, Fotohub is a convenient place to develop and scan your film. They develop 35mm and 120mm film for black and white as well as colour.

Looking to get your APS film developed? Shalom Lab is just the place you are looking for. Established in 1997, Shalom Lab develops not only APS film, but also your usual 35mm, medium format and 110 film. After development, you can choose to get your photos via CD, DVD and even thumbdrive.
